§ Mr. McLoughlinNo. There will be no change in the arrangements for the protection of an SSSI as a result of 403W the privatisation of a trust port. There is already a requirement on the local planning authority to consult the relevant conservation agency when dealing with a planning application for a development affecting an SSSI. Similar consultations are undertaken by bodies proposing developments which are permitted developments within the general development order.
