HC Deb 25 November 1991 vol 199 cc370-1W
Mr. Graham

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will conduct an investigation into the incident at Faslane in which a constituent of the hon. Member for Renfrew, West and Inverclyde was attacked by an unknown assailant during the course of his work as a security guard; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Archie Hamilton

I have been asked to reply.

I understand that the incident in question relates to an altercation between two security guards employed by a private firm working at a contractor's site at the Royal Navy armaments depot, Coulport. The matter has been investigated by the MOD police and I am satisfied that no breach of security has occurred.
