To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects to be able to announce standard spending assessments for local education, social services, and fire and police services.

Mr. Redmond

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects to announce the rate support grant and capping criteria for 1992–93; and if he will make a statement on the reason for the delay in making the announcement.
