§ Mr. BeithTo ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) what plans he has to prevent financial institutions offering both an independent advice service on financial products and a tied advice service;
(2) what plans he has to disbar the banks and other financial institutions from operating dual status with regard to advice on financial services.
