HC Deb 22 November 1991 vol 199 c320W
Mr. Fraser

To ask the Attorney-General what plans the Government have to establish further commercial courts outside London.

The Attorney-General

The commercial court sits at the Royal Courts of Justice in London to hear disputes, mainly arising from the international commercial activities of the City of London.

Commercial lists have been established at Manchester and Liverpool comprising general commercial business cases. Further such lists in other parts of the country will be considered should local business communities demonstrate a need.
