§ Mr. Austin MitchellTo ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make it his policy that following the criticism of an auditing firm by Department of Trade and Industry inspectors, the standards of that firm would always be investigated.
§ Mr. RedwoodWhenever an auditing firm is criticised in a report by Department of Trade and Industry inspectors, a copy of that report is disclosed to the relevant supervisory body. It is for that body to decide what action to take.
