§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonInformation on housebuilding by user category is not available for the years prior to 1986, and could be extracted only at disproportionate cost. The latest available information on sheltered and special needs housing built by district councils and the private sector is set out in the tables. Information on Scottish Homes, and its predecessor, and on housing associations, is not available in the precise form requested. I will write to the hon. Member about this.
