To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the latest estimate received by his Department of the total expenditure by Harrogate borough council for the present financial year.

Harrogate borough council's budget estimate of net revenue expenditure for 1991–92 is £14.5 million.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the number of council dwellings sold in the current financial year by Harrogate borough council.

During the first six months of the current financial year, Harrogate borough council received £743,000 from the sale of fixed assets, including £558,000 from the sale of houses and flats. The total receipts figure may include receipts from the sale of land as well as property.
