HC Deb 20 November 1991 vol 199 c158W
Mrs. Golding

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment how many planning appeals have been lodged with his Department in each year since 1985 against refusal by a planning authority to allow the fitting of security shutters or other external security features on shop premises; and what percentage of these appeals were successful.

Mr. Yeo

The information held by the Department about planning appeals makes it possible to identify appeals affecting shop fronts, but not those concerned specifically with the security of shops.
