To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what are the costs of the work of the grant-maintained schools section of his Department as a percentage of the overall budget of his Department.

In 1991–92 the work of the grant-maintained schools division will account for around 0.7 per cent. of the Department's gross running costs recurrent budget.
