§ Mr. DorrellInformation in the form requested is not collected centrally. According to information provided by the European Dialysis and Transplant Association the total number of people receiving dialysis in the United Kingdom as at 31 December 1990 was 8,857. At the end of 1989 there was one such patient over the age of 70 years for every 13 under that age.
