To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will call in the application to Ealing council for the closure of Berkeley avenue from Oldfield lane, North to Greenford road.

If a private development requires the closure of a highway it is for the developer to make application to the Secretary of State for Transport for the necessary order under section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. No such application has been made in respect of any development affecting Berkeley avenue.
