§ Mr. David HuntMy Department provided financial support for a study by University college, Swansea, of the impact of the General Certificate of Secondary Education on the teaching of history, geography and Welsh. The university published its findings earlier this year and I believe the study is a valuable contribution to the pool of knowledge about the teaching of GCSE. I shall send the hon. Gentleman a copy of the report and arrange also for a copy to be placed in the Library of the House.
