§ Mr. Ieuan Wyn JonesTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list the outstanding applications for road bypass schemes before his Department, and the date on which each application was initially submitted.
§ Mr. David HuntTrunk road bypass schemes are added to the programme as a result of route and feasibility studies and have been listed in successive editions of "Roads in Wales". Current plans are given in the supplement to "Roads in Wales: Progress and Plans for the 1990s" published in February.
Applications from local authorities for transport grant support in 1992–93 include bypass schemes. These are under consideration and an announcement will be made shortly.
