§ Mr. CurryThe additional £16.5 million expenditure on hill livestock compensatory allowances for 1992–93 shown in the autumn statement represents the extra money necessary to meet the average 14 per cent. increase in headage rates announced on 11 February 1991. The terms of the 1992 scheme will be announced as soon as decisions have been reached in the light of the autumn review.
