Dr. David Clark

To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will give the amounts in pounds sterling received in the United Kingdom in import levies in each of the last five years by product, giving the amounts imported in each case; and if he will make a statement.

The informaton is given in the table. A breakdown of the amounts by product could be produced only at disproportionate cost. Details of products imported into the United Kingdom are contained in the annual report published by the Central Statistical Ofice entitled "Overseas Trade Statistics of the United Kingdom".
