§ Mr. DunnTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will, in establishing the banding of property values for the purposes of collecting the council tax, introduce a mechanism that will protect the clergy who live in large tied property whilst in receipt of limited stipends.
§ Mr. KeyMy Department is presently discussing with representatives of the churches the position of the clergy under the council tax.
