Dialysis stations North Wales Main Renal Unit—Rhyl 7 Subsidiary Renal Unit—Bangor 6 Subsidiary Renal Unit—Wrexham 6 South West Wales Main Renal Unit—Swansea 15 Subsidiary Renal Unit—Carmarthen 9 South East Wales Main Renal Unit—Cardiff 11 Subsidiary Renal Unit—Cardiff 6 Subsidiary Renal Unit—Merthyr Tydfil 6 Proposals for a unit at Newport have been invited from Gwent health authority. We have also established a kidney transplant unit at the Cardiff royal infirmary. The treatment of most renal patients, however, is in the hands of district health authorities.
