To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what is his latest estimate of the total local authority funds at risk following the closure of the BCCI.

My Department wrote on 27 September to local authorities in the United Kingdom asking them about deposits with BCCI. Returns were due to be submitted by 7 November. The information we have received to date is listed below.
