HC Deb 11 November 1991 vol 198 c405W
Mr. Austin Mitchell

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many paediatric pathologists there are in the United Kingdom.

Mrs. Virginia Bottomley

This information is not held centrally. All regions were required to have at least one paediatric pathologist in post by 31 March and to have conducted a review of the need for further posts by 1992. All regions have met these objectives except in one case where there has been difficulty in filling the post.
