To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will list the new environmentally sensitive areas he intends to designate and how many existing environmentally sensitive areas he intends to expand; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Curry

I plan to increase expenditure on environmentally sensitive areas in England by £75 million over the next three years. I will be making announcements concerning the designation of new areas and the improvements in the existing ESAs shortly.
