HC Deb 11 November 1991 vol 198 cc351-2W
Mr. Campbell-Savours

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonweath Affairs what a 3 per cent. increase in real terms in aid for developing countries, over the survey period referred to in the ODA press release of 6 November, would be in cash terms for the same period.

Mrs. Chalker

The overseas aid budget for developing countries is planned to increase to £1,980 million in 1994–95 compared with the original planning figure for 1991–92 of £1,721 million; this is an increase in cash terms of 15 per cent.
