HC Deb 23 May 1991 vol 191 c544W
Mr. Evennett

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects the Boundary Commission to report to him on Thamesmead; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Key

The Local Government Boundary Commission's programme of work is for the commission to determine with the resources at its disposal. I understand that the commission is currently considering the responses it has received to its draft proposals for the boundary between the London boroughs of Bexley and Greenwich, affecting Thamesmead, and it is likely to be some time before this review is completed. I regret that I cannot give a firmer forecast.
