§ Mr. Kenneth CarlisleNo aircraft armed with live ammunition have crashed in low-flying exercises in Britain in the past four years. However, practice bombs using small spotting charges and practice ammunition are carried frequently. Some of the aircraft involved in accidents while low flying were carrying practice munitions.
§ Mr. FlynnTo ask the Secretary of State for Defence whether any planes carrying or armed with live ammunition have crashed in Wales in the past three years from(a) low-flying exercises and (b) other flying exercises.
