§ Mr. LilleyI am pleased to say that, as at 1 May 1991 my Department has received 229 applications under the environmental management options scheme: 59 involving United Kingdom companies under the Euro-environ scheme and 170 under the environmental technology630W innovation scheme which is a joint DTI/DOE scheme. Applications have been received from over 20 different product sectors with some covering more than one sector, such as soil remediation, waste and water treatment, chemicals and domestic waste.
