To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will list the planning appeals relating to opencast coalmining sites in Wales currently under consideration by his Department.

  • Llanilid West, Mid Glamorgan
  • Brynhenllys, Powys
  • Bannel Bridge, Clwyd
  • Park Slip West, Mid Glamorgan
  • Graweth Farm, Merthyr Tydfil, Mid Glamorgan

In addition, the planning application for an opencast coal mine at Pwll Du has been called in for determination by the Secretary of State. The cases are at various stages in their determination.
