§ Mr. TrippierI understand that prompt action by the National Rivers Authority helped to ensure that little pollution ensued.
The spillage of some 50,000 gallons of fuel oil was confined to an area close to the railway and a minor water 405W course. A few small fish were killed. The River Tone was not affected. The NRA will take further action if necessary.
