§ Mr. YeoThe Department did not offer Estate Action support for 1991–92 to Southwark council towards the cost of its proposed works on the Brandon estate as the application failed to satisfy the objectives of the programme. The Department would be willing to consider a new bid for this estate in a future year, but approval would depend on the quality of the proposed scheme in competition with other bids received.
