To ask the Secretary of State for Employment what is the current rate of unemployment in(a) the Cambridgeshire travel-to-work-area, (b) the Eastern region and (c) the United Kingdom.

Only unadjusted unemployment figures are available down to travel-to-work-areas. In April 1991, the latest available date, the unadjusted unemployment rate was 3.7 per cent. in the Cambridge travel-to-work-area, 5.7 per cent. in the East Anglia region and 7.7 per cent. in the United Kingdom.
