§ Mr. Michael ForsythMy right hon. Friend has no plans to designate the Isle of Islay as an environmentally sensitive area. He is, however, currently reviewing the present arrangements for such areas and will, if necessary, honour his statutory obligation to consult the Nature Conservancy Council for Scotland and the Countryside Commission for Scotland on any proposal to change these arrangements flowing from the review.
