§ Mr. John PattenThe Royal Commission on criminal justice has been given very wide terms of reference, and it is for the commission to determine the way in which it will carry out its task and to report accordingly.

§ Mr. John PattenIt is for the royal commission to determine the way in which it will carry out its task, but I understand that an announcement will be made shortly about the arrangements for the submission of evidence to the commission.
