Mr. JacksonThe number of employees in the textile industries in the north—Cleveland, Cumbria, Durham, Northumberland and Tyne and Wear—fell by 731 over the three months to December 1990. Estimates for areas within standard regions are available only from the census of employment and relate to September 1989.
