§ Ms. ArmstrongTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland which local authorities have applied, under section 210 of the Education Reform Act 1988, for a grant to(a) finance existing provision for refugees or displaced persons living in camps or reception centres and (b) to finance provision for 1991–92; how many of (a) and (b) have received a grant; what is the amount of grant allocated to each local authority; and if he will review the grant available for these purposes in the light of the increased number of asylum seekers entering the United Kingdom in 1990.
