§ Mr. Alan HowarthUniversities' income from Exchequer grants for years up to the academic year 1988–89, the latest for which this information is available, is set out in successive annual editions of "University Statistics: Volume Three, Finance" published by the Universities Statistical Record. the main distribution figures for the academic years 1989–90, 1990–91 and 1991–92 are set out in University Grants Committee circular letter 3/89 and Universities Funding Council circular letters 12/90 and 6/91 respectively.
