§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyThe Committee on Safety of Medicines—CSM—has been asked to examine the new evidence in relation to the drug triazolam. This follows the recent publication of results from a study carried out in the United States of America involving higher doses than those recommended for use in the United Kingdom. The Committee on Safety of Medicines will advise the licensing authority if any action is required.
