To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many compulsory redundancies have taken place in Wales during 1989 and 1990 and to date in 1991; and if he will publish figures for each secondary and primary school in Wales as well as the overall figures for each local education authority area.

Figures for all confirmed redundancies in all industries for each county are shown in the table. Separate figures for compulsory redundancies are not available. Comprehensive information on redundancies in individual schools or local education authority areas is not held centrally.
