§ Mr. GummerThe Licensing Authority for England and Wales has received one application under the Food (Control of Irradiation) Regulations 1990, for approval to irradiate various dried spices and condiments. We will announce our decision on this application when our full evaluation is completed. No applications have yet been received in respect of food irradiation plants abroad.
