§ Mr. Robert B. JonesTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will indicate the budget which would be available to the governors of Grove Road junior and infants schools, Tring, for the current year on the basis the schools were a joint and grant-maintained school.
§ Mr. EggarHertfordshire local education authority's financial delegation scheme allocates £212,916 and £161,095 respectively to Grove Road junior and infants schools. Should these schools achieve grant-maintained status they would receive those amounts plus an additional 16 per cent. to help meet costs previously borne by the LEA and a further sum reflecting LEA subsidies for school meals. They would also be eligible for other grants available to grant-maintained schools.
