'To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will list the schools which have applied to his Department to transfer to grant-maintained status.

I will list the schools under three categories: (i) those whose applications for GM status we have approved; (ii) those whose applications for GM status we have rejected; (iii) those that have published proposals on which decisions are pending.
