§ Mr. Tony LloydTo ask the Secretary of State for Employment if he will list the number of(a) vacancies, (b) applications received, (c) those interviewed, (d) those offered a job and (e) those who accepted a job as a specialist inspector of health and safety in the latest recruitment round.
§ Mr. ForthThere were no specific number of vacancies for specialist inspectors of health and safety in the latest completed recruitment round which took place in August 1990. Seven hundred and forty-nine applications were received; 229 applicants were interviewed; 58 were offered a job; and 47 accepted a job.
