Mr. Hannam

To ask the Secretary of State for Health how much money the Disablement Services Authority distributed to the health authorities to run the wheelchair and artificial limb service; and how much each health authority received.

For 1991–92, the Department made initial allocations of £110.5 million revenue to regional health authorities for purchasing former Disablement Services Authority activities; £4.4 million has also been allocated for committed capital schemes. The amounts distributed to each of the 14 regions were as follows:
