§ Mr. YeoThe response of local authorities to the green house programme for energy efficiency in local authority housing has been very encouraging. In the first round 165 authorities submitted more than 350 bids. As announced on April 10, over 70 schemes, including a "flagship" of particular interest in each region, will be supported in 1991–92.
Applications for support under the programme for 1992–93 will be invited shortly.
