§ Mr. YeoExisting planning policy guidance notes already give advice on a range of environmental issues; and we intend to expand the PPG series to include guidance on planning and pollution and on renewable energy sources. My right hon. Friend will consider the need for guidance on energy efficiency in determining, with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Energy, the Government's response to recommendation 21 in the third report from the Energy Select Committee.
