§ Mr. KeyNo addition, as such, was required. The exemption of properties in enterprise zones results in a lower national total of non-domestic rate income, but the value of exemptions is not separately identified. For any total of external support distributed to local authorities in a year, any reduction in the size of the distributable amount of non-domestic rates is automatically offset by an increase in revenue support grant which is then distributed to authorities in accordance with their standard spending assessments.
