To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, pursuant to his answer to the hon. Member for Caerphilly of 19 April,Official Report, column 271, if he will list those seven products approved under the Control of Pesticides Regulations as rodenticides.

The seven products approved for use by professionals as rodenticides are:

  • Alphachloralose (pure)
  • Alphachloralose 4 per cent. ready mixed
  • Klearwell Alphacloralose Bait
    • 310
  • Rentokil Alphachloralose Concentrate
  • Rentokil Alphalard
  • Rodextron Mouse Bait
  • Townex Mouse Poison

There is a further approved rodenticide containing alphacloralose, Rentokil Alphakil, available for use by non-professional users.
