To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how much land his Department owns in London; and how much of that land is unused.

The Ministry of Defence currently holds the freehold interest to 1,232 hectares—3,045 acres—in the Greater London area, of which 20 hectares—42 acres—is unused and available for disposal. A further 32 hectares—79 acres—is occupied by the Ministry of Defence on leasehold terms.
