§ Mr. LilleyFirms have responded positively to the Government's proposals further to liberalise the United Kingdom telecommunications market. A number of firms have expressed their intention to apply for licences to provide significant new telecommunications services, but have not as yet submitted a formal application. Details of applications will shortly be placed on a register for public inspection at the Office of Telecommunications.
