To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry whether he will make a statement on the value of British exports of telecommunications and radio equipment in 1989 and 1990.

British exports of telecommunications and radio equipment as defined by division 76 of the standard international trade classification were £2,223 million in 1989 and £2,687 million in 1990, an increase of 21 per cent.
