Mr. Dobson

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy what is the percentage of domestic gas consumption which is used in space heating, refrigeration, water heating, drying and cooking, respectively.

An estimated breakdown of domestic gas consumption by end use for 1990 is given in the table:
