§ Mr. WigleyTo ask the Secretary of State for Energy whether his Department was represented at the annual conference of the British Wind Energy Association held at University college Swansea between 10 and 12 April.
§ Mr. MoynihanYes. One official from my Department and three from the energy technology support unit, which manages the Department's renewable energy programme, attended. Both the Department and ETSU gave papers and many of the technical papers covered work undertaken within our research and development programme. The Department was one of the sponsors of the conference and had a stand in the exhibition.
